J.P. Winterburn has always carried a curious mind and an unshakeable wonder for theworld. As a child, they lost themselves in the boundless realms of science fiction and fantasy, while finding an anchor in the quiet, wild beauty of the outdoors. Those early sparks only deepened with time, translating into a lifelong devotion to writing poetry and short stories.

After extensively travelling and experiencing the wider world, they returned to their roots in England to pour those horizons onto the page. Known for meticulous research, atmospheric world-building, and fiercely character-driven narratives, their work explores intricate human dynamics against vivid, living landscapes. These are stories that embrace the full emotional rollercoaster of existence: the warmth of family life, the depths of love, and the profound trials of tragedy and loss.

That lifelong journey culminated in their debut publishing year in 2026. Inspired by a lifetime of witnessing real-world environmental shifts, changing seasons, and a fascination with natural phenomena—from earthquakes and storms to viruses—they began to ask a vital question: What will the world look like for the next generation?

That question birthed their classic epic, The Kingdom of Byanor. Born from lifelong experience and deep environmental stewardship, it spans three sweeping parts, accompanied by short, personalised character stories that breathe even more life into the realm.
